Kingsway Heritage College opened its doors in Ikeja with a simple conviction — that academic excellence and good character grow together, or not at all. Fifteen years later that conviction still shapes every timetable we write.
Our classrooms are deliberately small enough for teachers to know each child's work by name. Lessons move from instruction to investigation to application, so pupils leave a topic able to use it, not merely recite it. Beyond the syllabus, students debate, code, farm, sing, run and lead — because the habits that carry a person through life are rarely formed at a desk alone.

Teachers work to mastery, not coverage. Weekly checks catch a struggling pupil in days rather than at the end of term.
Integrity, courtesy and responsibility are held to the same standard as mathematics, in assemblies and in corridors.

Six programmes run alongside the core curriculum, open to students from Basic 4 upward.
Coding, robotics, electronics and data literacy, ending in a termly build that students present to parents.
Public speaking, ethics, project management and service, for prefects and aspiring student leaders.
Fine art, drama, choir and instrumental music, with two full productions each academic year.
Athletics, football, basketball and table tennis, with inter-house competition and external fixtures.
Guided reading, book club, debate and creative writing, tracked by a personal reading record.
Students design, cost and run a small venture for a term, then report on what they actually learned.
Purpose-built spaces across our Ikeja campus, from the science laboratories to the outdoor learning courtyard.
Applications for the 2026/2027 session are open for all classes. The process takes about two weeks from enquiry to offer.

School is where a child discovers what they are good at, often by accident. Our clubs, teams and productions run every week of term, and every student belongs to at least one.
Ninety-four percent of SS3 candidates earned five credits including English and Mathematics at first sitting.
Our JSS team placed third out of forty-two schools with a line-following delivery robot.
Senior debate team took the trophy on the motion of technology in Nigerian classrooms.
Track and field athletes returned with four gold and two silver medals from the zonal championship.

Creche through Reception in Nursery, Basic 1 to Basic 6 in Primary, and JSS 1 to SS 3 in Secondary. Students sit WAEC and NECO in SS 3.
Enquire, apply, take a short entrance assessment, attend a family interview, receive an offer, then register. It usually takes about two weeks.
Birth certificate, four passport photographs, immunisation record for early years, and the last two terminal reports from the previous school.
Yes. Supervised buses run on the Ikeja and GRA, Maryland, and Ogba and Agidingbi routes. Seats are allocated at registration.
Sports, debate, coding, choir, drama, fine art, chess, science and press club, plus the six signature programmes from Basic 4 upward.
Yes, with a computer per two pupils in Primary and one per pupil in Secondary. Computer studies is timetabled from Nursery 2.
Through the parent portal, termly conferences, open lesson days, and direct contact with the class teacher for anything urgent.
Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM. Nursery closes at 1:00 PM. After-school care runs until 5:00 PM.
